Mario Guralnik, Ph.D., brings decades of experience in regulatory affairs and innovative product development to his role as Chief Regulatory Officer, Aspargo Labs.  

Dr. Guralnik began his entrepreneurial career at Amgen where he led the erythropoietin team to massive success and spent years working on many FDA and industry advisory boards and committees, gaining the respect of medical leaders and industry innovators. He went on to found Synergy Research, Inc., where he has worked with a multitude of clients to successfully launch their drug and device programs.  

Dr. Guralnik is also a frequent lecturer at the Drug Information Association, Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society, and is a subcommittee member of the Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research.   

Dr. Guralnik’s academic foundation is rooted in an extensive background in the sciences. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry, a Master of Science (MS) in Molecular Biology, an MS in Computer Science, and a Ph.D. in Cellular Biophysics, all from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
