Álvaro Fernández, General Manager – Spain at Aspargo Labs, has over 23 years of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Spain.  

Throughout his career, Mr. Fernández has held numerous positions of responsibility and has successfully managed teams in the areas of Marketing and Sales. His professional journey includes significant roles at renowned companies such as Lilly, Orion Pharma, Biowise Pharmaceuticals, Angelini, Merck KGaA, and Ferring. 

Mr. Fernández’ strategic mindset and his exceptional ability to lead multidisciplinary teams have been pivotal to the successful execution and completion of various high-impact projects. His leadership style is characterized by a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and achieving excellence, which has consistently driven the growth and success of the organizations he has been part of. 

Mr. Fernández holds a BA in Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Madrid. He further enhanced his expertise by obtaining an Executive MBA from IE Business School, one of the leading business schools in Europe. Additionally, he completed a Management Development Program at IESE Business School, which has equipped him with advanced skills in business management and leadership.
